Indeed a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

My doc was a little worried about my blood pressure and advised that it was better to induced my baby as soon as possible and I was only 2 weeks away from the due date which is 2 Jun. Seeing that  I was a little reluctantly to induce... and my blood pressure was stable and still on medication...  the doc set it on 26th May 2010 (1 weeks b4 the due date).
I did not show up hahahaah... I was still waiting for the baby to decide for himself when he wants to meet us :)
But on 26th night, I was feeling slight contraction (feels like it) but it was very faaaar apart. And also some slight bleeding... so I packed the "BAG" with er... FOOD! and some other stuffs
Went to KPJ at 9am... after having laksa hehehe. Waited for the doc but he was having a surgery. Doc only show up at 10am. He filled up some forms and asked us to check-in at the lobby.
Checked in = paying a sum of RM2000 as deposit
Then a nurse brought us up to 3rd floor which is the Maternity ward and got my weight check for the last time. I AM 70 kilos o_0"" Put on a total of 15 kilos, and only ~3kgs is the bb HAHAHA
makes you wonder where the 12kgs go.
The nurse asked me change into something blue & very sexay :P
and reminded that I missed the earlier appointment **oppss**
But she was kind to add that it was good because it was CRAZY with more than 10 births. Am glad I only came to the hospital on 27 May.
At ~ 11am, the doc came & put me on drops which I later found out was to induce the bb.
Called the StemCells lady to come in a few hours and do their job.
The pain started ~ 2pm... it got pretty bad and I was on laughing gas, no epidural for me. NATURAL is the way to go... I'm lucky hubby is always at my side. Giving me drinks... holding my hand... passing me the ALL important HAHA GAS. Thank you Hubby!
To tell you the truth, I don't really remember the labour part... all fuzzy...
~4pm, told the nurse I had the urge to "pang sai" so she checked my dilation and found that it had reach 10cm. She was surprises as it was fast according to her.
At this point I regretted not eating anything earlier on, around noon when the pain was still bearable. I was hungry... and tired... and in a lot of PAIN.
The doc came immediately and asked me push when the urge to "kek" come. I remember PUSHING ALL that I could when the urge came. But it was not enough. After a few tries... I was really really tired. Doc decided to help by using the ventouse...some sort of silicon suction cup and he pulled the baby out while I PUSH for the last time.
And there you are... my precious baby!!! Finally out of mummy's womb after 9 looooong months on 27th May 2010.

All the sweat & pain was forgotten with you in my arms... Mummy and daddy love you!

Alexander, born on 27 May.
