Petroleum Jelly

ngai ti ... doesn't look like good marketing strategy with that 'Petroleum Jelly' so BIG on the product that made me go ewwww... I've been using this brand 'Unilever' lip therapy but it's the 1st with that "ugly" wording on the product. It's made it Korea. Usually I get those made it US using the same material but they don't write PETROLEUM JELLY so BIG... No choice lar.
I have 1 stored in the office, car and home & 1 with me all the time. I dunno if getting old mature made my lips super dry bcoz nowadays I cannot live without them. Do you feel the same??

Wipe that dripping saliva off ..... don banjir your keyboard hahahaThis 10 inch shortcake is overflowing with strawberries... the cake was so yummy that 3 more exact same cake was ordered by friends & colleague although it cost RM100. It's slightly expensive due to the special request of MORE strawberries but really worth it lor. Made by hubby's cousin Hallie.

HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL!!!!

Time to PLAY with FIRE & BURN LANTERN... burn baby burn... hahahhaha... as usual any celebration must start with FOOD.... yummy home cook food...
I loved Pork Rib with Pineapple.You-cha-tiau....
So excited wanna play with lantern... kakaka... if my kid (if hav lar) see this next time they gonna think their mum never GROW UP... Practice the same old procedure. I'll let the photo do the talking.... (look at those mountain high of lantern... the KIA SU Family)Dunno what these are called... gluey & sticky & super ultra sweet... the sweetest mooncake in the world...We had to STOP my grandma from getting near this stuff.
This year, a HOT or more appropriately ICY new type of Mooncake stole all our hearts... It's agar-agar Mooncake... so pretty... They are super yummy ..... I liked the Seterobeili the BEST. My Sei Sim (Mum's Bro's Wifey) made it herself. I'm so impressed... like totaly WOW!!! I promised her I'll help out next year in making these mooncake (hopefully I still remember by then). I'm just SO JELES, seems like currently HOME MADE is the IN-TREND now... I WANT TO SAY IT MYSELF TOO!!!

NO price tag

What is bought is cheaper than a gift. ~Portuguese Proverb

1. Nothing beats home-made cheesecake by my mum-in-law (MIL), firm & dense, with a slightly lemony flavor like New York cheesecake from Coffee Bean.
The type of cheesecake that's pure, unadulterated cheesecake with no fancy ingredients added either to the cheesecake or placed on top of it. It's not too sweet, just perfect.
2. Fresh home-made mini-mooncake made by MIL too. These are filled with bean paste that are not too sweet, a healthier option, that's the advantage of HOME MADE goodness. 3. These are "Ping Pi Yue Ping" (Ice Skin Mooncake) with Pandan flavored bean paste that's again NOT too sweet. This type of mooncake DON'T need to be BAKE. That's why it's FAIR SKINNED... kekeke... Again a masterpiece by my MIL. Yea, she's a talented baker I admit. I feel like the USELESS daughter-in-law now...sigh.4. WASABI NORI (seaweed)... wohoo... have been searching for this... Dennis got this for me in S'pore. Even gave me a copy of the Goodfood Japan, a magazine about Japanese food make simple.... cooool.and MORE types NORI... The nori are even pre-cut (good for lazy bum like me) for different type of wrapping like Yaki Onigiri &Temaki Nori... too cooool... 5. Swiss Chocolate from Amsterdam.... 72% cocoa... sometimes when ppl knows what u like, they get lazy and get the same stuff 4 u every time. But to me that's good, bcoz I never get enough of CHOCOLATE....muahahahha...
6. Hubby's Sei Ko (DIL's younger sis) make us some Coffee Cake with nuts topping. I so ENVY people that know how to bake cakes. The only cake that I know how to make is in the toilet kind. Homemade cake are always not-too-sweet, healthier and like how I like it (ok ok .... I cannot keep up with the straight face anymore... I admit I'm lying, I like sweeeeeeeeeet stuff, but people give 1 bor... must say ..hhmmmm... not too sweet, more healthy like that lor)... must learn to appreciate less sweetness in food, for the sake of my waist & tummy & thigh & arm ....7. Mummy dearest got me 2 more cactus, bought it from Sunday Market. The 1 below looks like blooming lotus, I loved it. Even got stem coming out that's not flower bud, but in fact it's baby cactus. This cactus is so lovely, looks like it's covered with flower all around... so pretty. My mum really got an eye in picking the cactus I likey. Thanks Mummy.
8. Some souvenirs from TallGuy who is back from Taiwan to renew his Visa. He got SO much interesting adventure in Taiwan... he's so lucky as he's gonna be there for another 4 months. Here's wishing that you have MUCH MUCH MORE 'ADVENTURE' there.God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.
Have you used one to say "thank you?"

MBKS & Duck

I received a late payment notice for the "Atap Suei" aka "Roof Tax" aka "Annual Assessment Rate" without EVER receiving the bill. So how can charged me interest summore??!! Went to pay last Saturday & the counter was CLOSED!! mai-ku... People need to work 8-5, how to pay on weekday le??? and counter only open until 4pm on weekday... wai seh man... I envy their short working hours...

No choice had to "Execute this Payment" within the 1 hour lunch break during workday... By 12.45pm, hubby drove like crazy to MBKS. Reach there within 15 minute from samajaya. Was so happy as there was NO Q at the payment counter, the lady at the counter look at my "Letter of Notice" and directed me to go 2nd floor to print out the BILL... So up we went to the 2nd floor and wadthe @#$@$#%^&^%$# office closed until 2pm...
So I went to the Payment Counter again and ask if I can PAY without the BILL?? The answer : CANNOT LAR... MUST GET THE BILL!!
cb, gave u the property address & PAY u $$ also CANNOT... WHAT ridiculuos system is this??
Since we got almost 1 hour to kill, decided to give the DUCK at IMPERIAL DUCK a try. Without hesitating, ordered 2 Imperial Duck Rice (RM6.50) and 2 ice cold drinks to COOL DOWN.
The GOOD : Meat was tender. Enough of DUCKY smell. The skin was "crispy" yet "moist" at the same time, hmmm how to explained hor ...the Exterior Skin was crisp and the Interior Fat was moist... te-hee... i write the worst review..
The BAD : The HORRIBLE smell from the pickled cabbage almost killed me... the KIMCHI wannabe failure
THe UGLY : Portion is quite SMALL (good for those on DIET lar)

Total Damage: RM17.00

p/s: I had to stay back for 1 hour "bodoh sekeliling" after ofice hour to "COMPENSATE" the EXTRA LONG LUNCH BREAK... yup, every minute count.
