Gui Lin Day 1 (part 1)

Yay! Thank almighty god we have touch down at Gui Lin Airport safely around noon. Lil prince had a good rest, to ensure he have enough energy to explore Gui Lin :)

We are using private group tour, means that the guide will only be taking care of us and no outsider will be joining us.

It's summer in China so the weather is same as Kuching, HOT!

 Changing out from the pajama. Grandpa is Lil Prince best friend.

Our hotel... I forgot the name. It's 3 star. Clean and big room.

I breastfed Alexander whenever he wants it. Just use a shawl and tada... a mobile milk source for the lil Prince.

Where's my food?

Even after I kept lil prince head in the correct direction...

 Simple lunch at a restaurant... Standard oriental dishes.

 

 

 

While having our lunch, got Artsy stuff like this decorative fan on sale. Paintings too. And Calligraphy.

After the simple but satisfying lunch, we went for a walk at a nice garden. Stay tune.

Family trip to Gui Lin, China

heh... the title gave it all away... YES! We are heading to Tiong Kok. Having some anxious feeling as we are always hearing scary stories from people that travel to China.

 Lil prince is up and excited to be in an airplane again!

 This is mummy's breakfast... had to sneakily bring it into the plane hehehhe

 Daddy's breakfast, Nasi Lemak! YUMssss!

 Alexander's breakfast is "neng neng" fresh from mummy's (.)(.) Milk bottle not needed. Don't need to get warm water. No need to wash the bottles. Breastfeeding is the way to go. It really makes life easier.

 We were lucky the flight was not full so the lil Prince can rest comfortably.

 Oh my precious boy, mummy is really proud of you, being such a good boy. Mummy promise to bring you everywhere that mummy visit.

Tune Hotel LCCT

Our 1st experience staying at TUNE HOTEL! As our flight will be VERY early the next morning, we are taking our rest here which is very convenient... as it's just a short walk away from the LCCT airport. At first I thought have to take a bus or something, but once u step out from the airport u will not miss the building.

Our comfort pack which include a towel, shower cream & shampoo.

 The room is really small. Just enough for you to walk around the bed. But the place is clean.

 That's the only spot that we can fit our baby stroller in for lil prince Alexander. For **ahem ahem** slim ppl like us I think the space of the room is still ok for the price we pay.

 Our basin transformed into a bathtub for lil Prince as he requested for a nice warm bath

 Enjoying this luxurious bath experience :) 

The next morning we woke up at 5am and walk to the airport... Lil Prince left strict instruction to not wake him up as he need his beauty sleep.

Next post will reveal the DESTINATION of our vacation.

Alexander's 1st Airplane Ride

Words cannot express how I feel. I have waited for this moment since... the year we decided to get pregnant. Our last trip was on Nov 2008 to Bali. That's like forever...

 Our 1st trip oversea with our prince Alexander. Don't worry Alexander, we paid for your air fare, you don't have to hide in the suitcase although u can fit in it :)

  My parent are traveling with us, including my youngest brother, William.

 

Lil prince being dotted on by grandparent and uncle... what a lucky chap! And we are really lucky too as all ground arrangement for this trip to China were handled by my parent. Really thankful.

  And yes... we traveled on Airasia. I really like fyling on Airasia as the airfare is really affordable. And bext of all, everything can be done online.

 Met our friend, Christopher, who is flying back to Perth. And we were introduce to his fiance too... what a nice pretty lady. Hope to visit you guys next time in Perth!

 This will be lil Alexander 1st trip on a airplane... here's to many more to come!

 Alexander slept after the satisfying meal... We are really lucky lil prince was behaving pretty well. Looks like we can start to travel now on. There was no fuss from this lil naughty boy. I'm really happy as this means I can start to think about our next destination HAHAHA... the 1st trip is not even over yet, this kia su mummy is thinking about the next vacation liaw...

Our sweet boy turns 1!!

Dear Alexander,

Happy Birthday!! This is your very 1st birthday.Hardly  can believe how fast this year has gone and how much you have changed. You are without a doubt, the most wonderful blessing in our life.Our little bundle of JOY! We could not be a happier daddy & mommy. You have brought us so much joy and we cannot even begin to describe how much we love you. We are glad that our baby is you. We had no idea how incredible parenthood would be!You have completely transformed our life!You are always making funny face & keep us laughing at your antics all the time. We see the gifts that God has already given you and can't help but wonder what amazing plans He has for your life.God certainly blessed us when He gave us you.You are now officially a 'toddler'
