MIL's Birthday

We were in Singapore for 6 days last week. Our 1st holiday of the year.
This would be our 1st time using Tigerairways. With the current direct flight to S'pore, it's so much convenient. And not forgetting so much cheaper with 3 budget airlines competing for business.

Our boarding gate was the LAST along that passage way... hai... the disadvantage of using budget lor... always the furthest gate away...

Our trip to Singapore was for MIL's birthday celebration & it also coincide with our 3rd year engagement anniversary. We had a GRAND dinner at Akashi Japanese Restaurant at Vivo City, Thank you Dennis (hubby's older bro) for the nice dinner!

As we can't order a cake with EXTRA Strawberries like what Hailley offer, with my "near genius brain", together with Hubby, we DIY the special birthday cake. We bought a cheese cake, 2 boxes of strawberries & a can of fresh cream.

Our plan nearly work except the fresh cream part where the can we bought was not really fresh cream. Nevertheless.... ta-da...

After the birthday song was sang, & the cake was cut, everybody was waiting eagerly for the cake...

The pretty pink roses for MIL. We bought this from a stationary shop near the MRT once reaching S'pore. There were lotsa colors to choose from but this pink caught my eyes as the color was really rich & pretty.
