Happy Birthday Janet!!!
Hope u will stay healthy, happy & remain as pretty as evar
After a lot of suggestions flying around, we (as in SexyLips, GossipJen, Boldboss, me & birthday girl Janet) ended up picking Magenta for this special occasion, a birthday dinner celebration. It has been ~ 2 years since I went & left with only good memories... but all that has change in 1 night. I had been dreaming about their lamb shank & those yummy mashed potatoes... yum... but alas the waitress said NO LAMB TONIGHT to my horror.
There was nothing else that got my attention except for the Tom Yam soup with bread that Janet was interested in, so GossipJen suggested we share the dishes. Since we were getting Tom Yam, we kinda sticked to the seafood dishes... but then the chef came out and told us NO TOM YAM! we all went #$%#%^&#% in our head. He persuaded us to try the King Prawn Special.
The Seafood Platter portion was so pathetic a kid can finish it alone but will not because it was tasteless. It has shrink from the size of an elephant to only a baby elephant. The Oyster Salad was a total disaster. I AM NOT HAPPY!

The only dish that we liked (me & GossipJen) was the King Prawn Special but price at RM88, it was too expensive with only 1 KING prawn in a bowl of soup. Getting very very NOT HAPPY! And paying RM 227.70 made me even more unhappy! So not worth the money paid.
It will be a looooooooooooooooooong time before I forget this

And here you tot we just finished our dinner rite? Our real dinner was at Life's Cafe at Carpenter street! Where our tummies were satisfied with only a portion of the money spend at Magenta.
