HK Day 3: Golden Bauhinia Square (Jan'08)

Spotted a lot of MAZDA, but not the RX8:
Had dinner at Cafe de Coral, 1 of the BIG fast food chain in HK. The food was so cheap, the steak with soup & corn & potato was ~RM20 only. I've noticed that Western or Japanese food in HK is cheaper than Kuching.
The busy X 1000 street of HK:
Times Square, the new shopping heaven in the city:The unique thing about HK is that the old & new co-habituating together, but do not seem to b out of place:People mountain people sea inside the mall:
The HUGE mall, and it's not even the largest:
It was a long walk toward Golden Bauhinia Square, just followed the sign "HK Convention & Exhibition Centre" (HKCEC) as it's just outside that building. Walk & walk & walk ... the HK government really good lor, the walk path is all cover & cross through building & not required to cross any roads as most walk path are built above the street.

The reflection on this building's glass captured hubby's attention.

At the waterfront getting close to our destination:
A lot of boats around:
Noticed the cloud?? It would be nice to be at the highest floor in that tall building & b in a world of my own:
The "Symphony of Lights" from Hong Kong Island. For me, the show is not as impressive as from Tsim Sha Tsui:
The imposing Forever Blooming Bauhinia sculture outside the HKCEC on the waterfront of Wan Chai.Walking back to Wan Chai MTR:
Fun Fun Day. Feeling good as we covered a lot of ground in 1 day.
