Last month I heard Avril Lavigne was coming to KL (why oh why always go KL only??). was envy of people in KL always got BIG celebrity performing for them...
Then now the news has surfaced that she is BANNED from performing in our country's HOLY ground ... NO surprise lar .... always like that 1 our gabamen... the lamest excuse given:
"It is not timely. It's not in the good spirit of our National Day"
"Lavigne's show was considered too sexy for us and would promote the wrong values just before independence day"
"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models."
