HK Day 4: Peak Tower Jan'08

Full moon shining brilliantly. This is taken at the near end of the trail leading away from the peak tower.
Cool effect eh???
The night view of HK Island. Across the sea is the mainland of Kowloon:
A slightly zoom in view:Noticed the boats??? A true signature of HK island:
I was bugging hubby to splurge a bit at the Fine Dining Restaurant (with a view to boot), but it was full & we don't hav much time to spare as we were in a hurry to catch the 8pm "Symphony of Lights Show" on the Peak Tower. So we ended up with Burger King, which was a total ripped off. Our 2 sets of Burger with Soft Drinks & French Fries cost ~ HKD90.
View from TOP of PEAK TOWER. Photo below was captured while the laser show was on goin. But without the music alongside, was a bit boring, not as exciting as watching it at the harbor & it was too far away to really enjoy the effect of the lights:The BLUE building on the left of the above photo was really striking, below is the closed-up view:
looks like i'm straggling hubby eh?? his head so big ... hehehheNice little cottage spotted:
The Bank of China, a prominent sight even from the top. Noticed the reflection on the opposite building?? cool...
The RM1100 tripod was put into really good used during our trip in HK. Now it's sitting at a corner collecting dust. Dunno when will I be needing that tripod again. Hopefully soon *wink wink*
