yes yes yes... the long awaited HD of 750 gigabyte (weee!!) had arrived... actually it was 2 weeks ago lar. I forgot to record it down until now :) yea me & my good memory.
As you can see, my HD space was in the danger of running dry. So when it was installed the night it arrived, I was surprise to see that the actual capacity shown is only 698 GB although on the cover it's stated as 750GB.

Hubby: -_- " no lar...
to summarize:
750GB as SI-System Giga-Bytes means
750*10^9 B = 750.000.000.000 bytes = 0.75TB
But an OS will call
750 000 000 000 bytes(B) = 732.421.875 kB = 715.255 MB =
698 GB = 0.682 TB

ar.... now I know (actually I know already lar, just wanna share this small bits of useless info with you all hahah ... just 2 bore you!!!
Sometimes I'm glad I married a computer geek.
Now my comp have 1.6 TB of HD Capacity (some disk are RAID though after a very SAD incident when 1 of the HD crash & all our photos were gone).
**if by now you r wondering what is TB then I'm comforted by the fact that "there are more Sua Ku people around, I'm not alone**
