The Venetian Macau

weeeeeeeeeeee... I've step foot into the world's 2nd largest building: The Venetian.

This is the entrance, with this golden globe art thingy with naked women & lions: The corridor leading to the Casino (photo on the left below), just look at the ceiling. I was & still is awed at the scale of the building & the meticulous attention to detail. Photo on the right below, look up for the blue skies. There's no need for sunglasses, coz u r still indoors. Brilliant concept.
Frescoes that conjure images of Michelangelo's masterful Sistine Chapel beautify the ceilings. The escalators leading to the casino on the lower level. It's HUGE the place!!! Thick, colorful carpets & polished marble cover the floors. Statues, flowers & ad0rnments 0rnament the walls & 0pen spaces. The Grand Canal, which is the shopping esplanade has HUNDREDS of shops, set within a vibrantly re-created Venetian building. oh my sky, all this are indoors. Incredible!!Singing gondoliers transport young lovers & rich tourist but not KIAM SIAP tourist like me because each ride cost RM50~60. The person who is rolling the gondola is a real Italian, speaks and sing Italian. They sing pretty well 2.
Arch bridges permit crossing form 1 side of the canal to the other & squares, the greatest bein St. Mark's provide suitable area to gape at the surreal surroundings.
Do you have a feeling of being in Europe?Time for food, so we headed for The Venetian Macao’s Festivita Food C0urt – the perfect place to grab a bite in between shopping or gambling. To find it, just listen f0r the sound of the g0nd0liers singing, and follow the Grand Canal down towards the direction of the Great Hall. More than 20 big brand names in fast, mid-priced food offering almost every cuisine under the sun - or in this case, the blue sky ....kekeke... Price is around 30-60MOB.

This Japanese Outlet immediately grab Hubby's attention, as it's named NARUTO. I decided to walk around 1st but in the end I ordered Unagi from the same shop. Guess what hubby ordered?? hahaha ...it was the Naruto Ramen. Noticed the sign???
The view of the foodcourt:
There r some street performers thrown in for our entertainment. Like here it's the freaks on stilt:And also these human statues... reminded me of the trip to Rome... ah... sweet memories....Luck was not on our side that day, cutting short our loss by getting out of the casino ASAP. Here's the night view from the staircase towards the entrance: I'll end the post with the imposing exterior view of The Venetian:
Macau, I'll be back soon. There's so much more that I've not experienced....
