To get through life, to cope with all the ups & downs of life, I usually activate my 'crop-out' mode, by cropping the unpleasant or painful things that I don't want to know about. Because to me there are something that are out of my control. So to accept it, I rather be optimistic about it & focus on the positive side & remove the negative part.

I might sound like closing an eye to the bad things around, but I find that if I concentrate more on the good things, I'm more grateful & happy. It reminds me that it's not all that bad.

Here is an example from a snap I took when out for tomb raiding over the weekend. Other people were curious why I can take so many photos in a grave yard. But I find that there were many beautiful things that are not being appreciated enough.

Although on a glance it's awful with the area full of weed & stuff.

But if you zoom in, there are so many beautiful plants & flowers. Such as below:
I think this can be helpful to a certain extent.

But if it's something that it's in our power to make it right, then it's unhealthy to deny rather than face the truth or problems that we need to work through in order to grow.

Tomb Raiding & more & more & more

I'm so so tired. The weekend was pack with activities!! My arm & legs are arching now. It seems like I do more work than on actual work day o_O" hohoho.

Sat Morning started really early for me .... it's the 1st time I can see the moon from my balcony at day time.1st Activity of the Day, Tomb Raiding.... hehehehe .. no lar ... but I was really at people's tomb (grave yard). Not 1 but 2. All Soul's Day approaching soon, grave yard areas very "happening". Here's hubby with Big Bro (back from S'pore) cleaning the tomb stone of their Dad near 20 mile.The Flowers for Dad.I've never met Hubby's Dad before. But I seem to know him through stories told by hubby.
All the fond memories of him like:
He liked cars & motorbikes.
He played basketball.
He liked durian.
He's a handy man.
He's a good cook.
He liked to take them for outings.
How he took care of hubby when he's sick.

today and forever.2nd Destination. Paternal Grandma's tomb. Saw this cute creature nearby. The eyes are enchanting. Repeated the same procedure as above (clean, flower & candle). Then went searching for food at 10th mile before we turned into hungry ghost.

Then took hubby's niece, Ester for Swimming Lesson!!! I was more excited than her ... hahaha She's a natural swimmer, this is just her 2nd visit to the pool.
She's so CUTE.

Followed by babysitting Ester (the wondergirl) -_-"" She's so full of energy & very fond of Adrian. It was already lunch time but our pack lunch (mum bringing over to our house) was not here yet. Due to popular demand for my delicious Maggie Mee, I obliged & cooked it. Ester loved it so much & kept asking for more. Then Mum scream when she saw Ester was eating Maggie Mee when she arrived with lunch.
Afternoon was spend clearing Adrian's old room at Kenyalang. It's such a mess I gave up half way. I found a weird orange sunglass & a big ass photo of a GIRL. Hubby deny it's an ex-girlfriend, just some poster he used for a photo competition. Like I believe him.

Lesson to Guy: Don't ask ur GF/Wife to clean up your old room or you will regret it.Dinner at SwampThing at BDC.

Sunday is Sushi DAY!!!
Start the day with my fav laksa!!!
Prawn prawn prawn :)~~~~~

Then drag hubby to Sunday Market to get Prawn, Fruits, Vege & Toufu (no cactus as hubby drag me away from the stall with me screaming). Even my mum-in-law cannot believe that hubby agreed to go Sunday market. muahahhaha.... then shopped more at Supermarket getting more ingredient for the sushi.

The preparation was hell. I got lke 4 hours to get everything ready.

I made Mix Fruits Agar-agar, Prawn Salad, Miso Soup & Sushi.
Prawn Salad (with apple, pear, grapes) very popular.

Guests started arriving at 1pm:

• Mum's brother & wife & 2 kids (4)
• Cousin Wan Xin, Wan Xuan & Wan Xan (3)
• Mum (in-law)with BigBro & SmallBro & Ester, hubby's niece (4)
• Mum's (in-law) Sis & 2 Boys (3) --> brought Ice-cream
• Dad's (in-law) Sis & Grandpa (2) --> brought along Chic Curry & Vinegar Tu Ka
• Mum & 2 Small Bro (3) --> brought Lamb Stew & la kia peng
• Dad's Sis & family (3)
• Cousin Lawrence & Valerie (2) --> brought Pork Curry

Total of 24 guess in my super small house (luckily all came at different time). Last guest left at 10 pm. after all the cleaning up, I jump straight on my bed after showering.

It was a FUN but tiring weekend!!

I examined her closely. Big beautiful blue eyes. Ain't she pretty?? Hubby introduced her to me. Her name is Soryu Asuka Langley & she's a METAMO Figure. I decided to let her stay after all. But my favorite is still Matsumoto Rangiku.

What a Beautiful Saturday Morning, I think !!!

Actually..... I was still in dreamland until noon today.
I just love my comforter, so soft & nice.
It's a bliss to be all wrapped up in my comforter next to hubby.

Any day where I can just sleep in, not have a care in the world and don't have to go to work is a WONDERFUL day!!!

After having my uninterrupted beauty sleep, decided to surprise hubby with "breakfast Brunch at Home".
For appetizer, I painstakingly prepared Chicken Mushroom Soup.
The main course was "Beef Steak Pie" & the best part is the dessert "Strawberry Cheese Cake" . A lot of work le.

STEAK Pies!! Tasted ~So So ~ only. Slightly Disappointed as I bought the most expensive 1 hoping to get the best pies.

Strawberry Cheesecake!! Thanx Wendy for introducing SaraLee to me. It's Super Yummy & best of all it's instant. Much better than Secret Recipe, where I need to wait & wait, like can you go any slower ar??? What Service??

You know what I like to do during my supposedly NO WORK Day??

Cleaning up the apartment (include sweeping, & moping),

washing the 1 week old dishes in the sink,

cleaning the toilet, with Hitz FM on the background.

am on half day leave today YAY :)

Before leaving the office at noon, went over & told the BaldBoss:
"Boss, don't miss me too much okay. I'll be back Monday."

Feel so good to say bye bye bye to all the s%^& load of work in the office (at least until next Monday).

WHy is it so HOT when I'm on half day leave!!!!!!

Had lunch at one of the old kedai at Sekama. The food taste good but damn why are there dogs walking around the premises like makan angin in the park, man ... Dengan susah payah I finish my lunch lar ...cannot waste ar...ppl else where r starving le.

On the way to MBKS to pay "Cukai Pintu", I saw a weird looking car. Looking for the brand of the car, this is what i saw:

The woman at the MBKS counter was looking at my hubby intently and I though mayb hubby knew her or something. Only in the car suddenly he remembered the lady, it's Calvin's mum!!! soli ar auntie, hubby have bad memory.

Then proceed to make my passport.
Took passport photo @ staircase area of the immigration's office.
The photographer instructed me to take off my spec. Feel so uncomfortable as I can't see at all. Then ho then ho .... people kept walking pass the stairs. hai... pai seh lar ... tried to keep my eyes open but I kept blinking. damn. He kept saying calm down, relax. KNS I'm relax lar, but dunno why keep blinking so I purposely open my eyes wide wide for him ... hahaha . then he just sat there not taking my photo for 1 whole minute ... I think he's pissed. Finally he took the stewpig photo & it cost me RM10.

After spending like RM800 in 2 hours we are back home in the comfort of air con room & listening to KennyG & me drinking happy juice, Pineapple ler.

Today has not been the best of days.

It started well though, go on about our daily routine job, which include jokes flying around, laughing & planning our weekend activity where we can bully our beloved Bald boss.

Actually it's none of my business, but to me, it's BAD PLANNING that causes all the DELAY ... but then hor, the management made some pretty crappy decision and ish pissing me off.

Selamat Hari Raya to my Muslim friends!!

How I wish I can afford to just fly out to somewhere for a get-away vacation.

hai .... bo pien .. holiday at my private resort at home.

However, there are things that make me happy over the past weekend:

1. NO WORK for 3 days because of Hari Raya.... YAY!!!!!

2. It's Hari Raya ... and the best thing about raya is the FOOD like kari, rendang & ketumpat from friend's buka rumah .. yummy yum yum... & the real BONUS : I get to eat cakes for 3 straight days for free :) the cheese cake made by Akhasan is da BEST!!!

3. Went for my monthly Spa & Massage @ Sliming Sanctuary. ah ... after a long week of work I was really looking forward to this.

The session start with :

i. Goat Milk Jacuzzi. I always feel rejuvenate with this deliciously pampering spa.

ii. Whole body polishing (literally every single surface of my body except u know where lar) . Actually it's just scrubbing the skin with fruit-based & green tea extract (claimed to improve skin tone for dewy soft skin).

iii. Followed by pressure point massage. It's a delightful treat for tired & aching muscles.

iv. Finally the bamboo massage starts. This relaxing massage uses aromatherapy essential oils. That's when my oohh & aahh starts...

4. Roasted.Duck.Skin at Li Garden, Hock Lee. Enuff said. 5. Strawberry Ice (without the cream), but to my surprise it taste GOOD. Summore o buy 1 get 1 free. I'm such a sucker for free stuff :) like old people always say: Good Thing come in pairs & it's LOW FAT. Now I can eat twice as much.

5. It rained since early morning. And the weather remain cool and pleasant for the rest of the day. Thank you God. Here's the view from my kitchen.

6. I learn to make Prawn Salad & very proud to say it taste GOOD :)

7. Welcome the new member in the family. I think I'm addicted to buying cactus haha. I came, I saw, I buy.

The weekend has been beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. I am happy and that's all there is to it.

C how silly & mundane stuffs like these can make me so happy.

I hope that your Hari Raya was just as meaningful.
