Last Thursday was our department's Annual Year End Dinner at Top Spot, Taman Kereta. This year, the event was arranged by WilronMama. It was a blast although this year the budget is slightly tight due to the economy downturn I think.
The 1st dish was yummylicious mussels.
The sweet & sour fish was YUMMY! All the dish were GOOD! Just that no time to really enjoy the crab. Too many distraction.

Hubby got a lucky draw hamper again this year. As hubby also got it last year, Liau asked for TIPS on getting a hamper as he never get anything for the past 5 years. Hubby said must CHANT ones name over & over again. So Liau started to chant his name, we supported him too by chanting "Liau! Liau! Liau!". Sure enough, he got himself a hamper too. He JUMP UP SO HIGH every1 terkejut. BigFlyBoss said he must b under a lot of stress to let go like that... hehehe...
wohoooo..... we got ANG PAU too from the bosses. Although the amount is small, it's the thought that counts rite.

Family Pre-Christmas Dinner cum meeting hubby's Auntie who is visiting from Brunei at Lee's Garden at Hock Lee last Friday.
The Crispy Duck today was below par, the skin was way too salty to savor the taste. The fav dish of the night was this Butter Prawn & the Fish Fillet.
A beaming Esther with the lighted up X-mas tree at Hock Lee Centre... sigh her hair is so short people are always calling him BOY!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tonight we had dinner at Wonderful Delight, located behind AmBank near Choice Daily Tabuan Laru. This dinner was to meet Hubby's cousin Deborah who is back from New Zealand who will be heading to Miri before Christmas.
The food prices are very reasonable there.
The teh-C-peng was awesome... added with pandan flavoured sugar. The Steam Fish Teochew Style was great as the fish was really fresh. But other food was ok only lor, as everything seems to be too salty, even the Shark Fin Soup.
If u r there for dinner, remind them to be light with the SALT!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
p/s: the Akemi Tea leaf Therapeutic Pillow really does work! Hubby does not snore anymore after using it. He hav been using it for the past 2 months. If you are havin problem sleeping due to your partner's snoring, this might b ur answer.
