Got LOTUS card lor!!!

I'm jumping with joy as I've stocked up on food for the HOLIDAYS!!!

Ta Kiong, tHe Spring I went.
Came out with 2 BIG bags and wallet slightly lighter.
I feel so proud as I manage to grab a lot of promotional item for members (kakaka.. I sign up for the Lotus Card Member, NOW I really do sound like an Auntie liaw. I've avoid joining in as member for so long for fear of bein called an auntie... sigh) that was really a steal. Lucky for you, I'm willing to spread the love here & share with you $$ saving tips, like me $_$

Peak-a-boo into my shopping bags:

1. Tim Tam Value Share Pack for only RM10.90 (np RM15.90).
No No No!!! It's not expiring in 2 weeks time. Don't worry I'll finish the packet long before the expiry date.2. Vedan Guava Drink (1 liter) only for RM 2.39 (np RM4.20). Worried?? Coz got Chinese wording?? Don't worry it's made in Taiwan. Best consumed chilled. Big ass can of drink le, I even use the smaller tin as comparison.

3. 100% Natural Fruit Chips RM9.95 (np RM13.95)I was introduced to this during the CNY and I fell in love with it... so crispy & full of flavor. In the pack there are banana, starfruit, apple, pineapple, honeydew etc... The mushroom pack is also very nice.

Again, it's made in Taiwan... hahaha I just cannot help but quickly checked whether it's made in China or not. Now a days, I try not to buy food processed in China if I can help it. 4. MO CHI RM5.90!!! Comes in 4 flavor, peanut, sesame, yam & red bean. That's normal price lar but I like MO CHI. If everything wait until got promotional price, die lor.

Also made in Taiwan. Me paranoid liaw, keep looking for the origin of product when there's Chinese wording.5. StirFried KimChi Noodles from Korea by Paldo you must try, really damn good taste. And it comes with a packet of "WET Golden Pussy" (that's how hubby call the Kim-Chi) le. RM10.90 for 4 packets. Also NO special discount. Just wanna spread the good tiding.

6. This Tim Tam Chewy Caramel is DIRT CHEAP, only RM4.90 (np RM 8.90). Ok ok, it's SO cheap bcoz it's gonna expire in 2 weeks. But as the packet said, the MOST Irresistable Chocolate Biscuit bah... I cannot tahan & grab 1 saja lar.

In less than half an hour, I'm out with 15 items... some I did not stated here as it's the usual JUNK FOOD I BUY.The promotion is until 5th Oct, so go grab it if you want it too.
muahahah as if I can get commision from Ta Kiong... damn.

Ice-cream Evolution

Am soooo happy bcoz I found a new way to enjoy my Ice-cream.

Most of the time I'll just savor the pure Vanilla Ice-cream as it is... LOW FAT & LESS SUGAR...

If I'm lucky my brother will bring me fruit like mango from the garden & I'll mix with the ice-cream. The HEALTH factor of the ice-cream increases drastically, like the ones I did with Kiwi, Grapes & Peaches.

But today a light bulb suddenly lighted beside my head *ke ting* (I imagine it sound like that dunno why hahaha). Let me show you what I was inspired to do.

1. Retrieved the chocolate bar from the fridge, used the 1 without nuts.

2. Make sure it's NOT made in CHINA (better safe than be sorry)

3. Break 4 pieces of chocolate & prepare a knife & chopping board.4. Cut the chocolate cube into small little pieces or shaves it, up to you, but I did both.

5. Sprinkled the chocolate on the ice-cream & ta-daaaaa....

I HATE NURSES!!!

Grandparent's home has been rather crowded & buzzing with activities. All my Uncle & Aunt (all 10 brothers & sisters of my mum) are back in Kuching to visit my grandparent. I wish it was for some celebration or some festivity, but unfortunately it's not, it's bcoz my grandpa is hospitalized.
Blood flow to the left leg & toes has been bad for grandpa until the feet is dark brown in color. At 1st doctor amputate only his toes, but after 4 days, the flesh started to rot so the doctor has no choice but to amputated the limb below the knee, which was what the doc recommended initially but my grandpa refused. It has been really hard for grandpa, but he's strong & facing it like a MAN. He was so calmed before the operation, he showed no sign of panic or worries. Instead he can even talk to the nurse & ask how long the operation will be, although the nurse had to shout to him the duration as his hearing is bad.

Have been rather busy during night time lately as my visiting time slot is usually after 7pm till late. Then my brother will take over the NIGHT shift. Day shift is handled by uncles & aunts.

The 1st night after the operation was the worst. After the operation, grandpa was fine & he was asleep. Then a nurse came & wake him up to give him injection. That's when the nightmare begin. As the time went, the painkiller wore off I think as he kept saying that it's very painful, cannot sleep. I told the nurse to check but she said it was normal & he will b in pain for 3~4 days. Grandpa was having a hard time placing his leg & keep moving it making it worst. So my dad placed a pillow under the thigh area & he felt better. He was trying & struggling hard to sleep. After a long while, when my grandpa was drifting into dreamland, another nurse came & woke him up to take blood pressure & body temp. KNS #$%^&(%$#$ !!! He was trying so hard to block out the pain & sleep and the damn nurse just walked in & wake him UP!!! #$%!@&#$%$#

After doin her stuff, she just walk away. Leaving us to make him comfortable again & assuring him that everything is OK. Massaged his leg & hold it down to prevent his leg from movin about. After a looooooooooong while, I never know I would be so happy to hear grandpa snore. And at that very moment, another f&*@#ng nurse came & woke him up... #$%!@#@$#&%^%#@#$ WTH!!! Why can't the nurse do everything in 1 go & not waking the patient up every hour lar... wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf... Until now I'm sooooooooooooo angry thinking about it!!!! cool cool cool down...

Please pray together with me that my grandpa's pain will go away soon & the wound to heal completely.

**Walnut Vanilla Fresh Cream Cake with Fruits covered with Cheese**

This cake was costumed ordered by me as I cannot decide what cake to choose: Cheese, Walnut, Fresh Cream, or Fruits. So my Aunt (she's a baker too, I'm so LUCKY) suggest this cake that hav ALL the above & only RM80 for 1 HUGE CAKE!!! & it taste SO delicious!!! I'm not saying that just bcoz she's my relative, but really it was so refreshing & light & the cheese smelled GOOD!!!

An e-mail was send out with a warning to EAT at you OWN RISK, as MILK (althought not import from China) is involved. The word MILK has been rather sensitive in the office. Like this incident where we were all afraid to eat the rabbit sweet (ne... the white milk candy with the edible wrappers) but our colleague, a genuine Chinese from China heard we fussed about it & he volunteered to eat it. Wah, so "Ai Guo" (patriotic) le.

Pets & Kids

Felt totally refreshed after waking up this morning at 11 am... wohoooo... I love weekend!!

Went for lunch at Hainan Street Restaurant. Ordered their SUPER yummy chicken rice & 1 soup of the day, Bitter gout & pineapple chicken soup RM6. The soup was not bitter, just tasted like chicken soup, disappointed but the pineapple did cheer me up a bit.

Went kia kia after lunch, and passed by a pet shop

Hubby : They r cute.
Me: Who gonna clean them? Feed them? Clean the cage?

hahah ... They really are CUTE & FLUFFY & NICE to HOLD. I do like looking AT them, but looking AFTER them is another story all together... thank you. I don't wanna end up a murderer when I forget to giv them water, yea I'm forgetful like that.
Even got 1 rabbit wearing dark eye-liner, so Gothic style like that...

The pet scenario has been playing in my head.
Hubby hopes to be dad like forever oledi, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready for that kind of responsibility yet. Don't get me wrong, I love kids & want to have some myself, but I just don't think I'm ready to pop a mini-us... yet. I love my work. My life. My couple-life with hubby. My family.
