Imperial Duck

Last weekend, we went to have dinner at Imperial Duck as there were many "positive" comments from frens & relatives. Actually went earlier around 10 in the morning but dang, was told that the DUCKs are only available after 11am.
Imperial Duck just opened last month, it's located near to Lok Thian. I like my duck juicy with crispy skin... wonder if I can get it here??? But double dang, the waitress told us the ducks were SOLD OUT!! How can?? It's only 7pm & they already ran out of duck. Business so good hor!!
No choice lar, cannot taste the Duck so we ended up ordering a few non-Duck dishes. Seated upstairs where the aircon was god send. FULL House, expected on a weekend. Lucky got 1 last empty table available.

1st dish : Cha Seow RM8.00. It a small portion... look at the finger for comparison... but the meat was tender & sweet. 2nd Dish : Barbecue Pork RM8.00. Really really small portion. Total of 9 small tiny little cubes of FAT only. As you can see, there's NO MEAT attached to the thick layer of FAT. The thin layer of outer skin was crispy & nice.3rd Dish : Imperial Duck Fried Rice RM 9.50 (Single portion only, Bigger portion is available at RM16.50). Taste quite nice but for RM9.50 is kinda expensive for 1 small plate of fried rice.
4th Dish : Hot & Sour Soup "Si Chuan" Style RM 8.00. Totally not worth it at all as again the portion was small & it was TASTELESS except for being spicy hot >.<5th Dish: Fried Mixed Vegetables with Hawaii Nuts RM10.00. My favorite dish of the night. The vege were fresh & crisp. I went NUTS for the NUTS. So amazingly crunchy...
6th & Final Dish : "Dong Po" Pork RM 16.00 again it's a tiny portion. Hubby complaint that the meat got "urine" smell...din finished this dish.Verdict : Be prepared bcoz the portions are quite small for the price paid. Taste wise, it's not too bad.

But I'll only be back to try the DUCK... others are too damn expensive...
