We took Esther out to Traffic Garden as it was a SUNNY Friday evening.
While we were walking towards the park she saw the moon and pointed to it

Can you see the moon??

Esther: Mooooooooon ah.
Me: Yes, clever girl
Esther: Moon ae light ar boi ON (translation: Moon's light is NOT ON yet)
Me: huh?
Esther: Moon ae light ar boi ON!! (translation: Moon's light is NOT ON yet)
Me: ooohhh.... hahahahah.... yes, the sky is still bright so the moon's light is not on yet.
Hubby: teheee!

We were walking back as it was getting dark

Esther: The sky is dark! (she actually said it in perfect English )
Hubby & I: WOW... your vocab is getting very impressive.
Esther: Moon ae light ON liaw..... (translation: Moon's light is ON!)
Hubby & I: hahhahahahHAHAHAHHA
